IF YOU were lucky enough like me, to have watched Sheffield United during the Alan Woodward era, this brilliant compilation of television clips, uploaded by Steve Birch, will bring back many memories. Woody knew how to strike the ball but watch out for a cracking goal by Tony Field and that mesmerising moment from Tony Currie who literally toyed with West Ham's defence in front of the Kop at the Lane. It was immortalised by BBC Match of the Day presenter, John Motson, who commented "a quality goal, from a quality player". Enjoy.

An understated man who made his mark in America too, after swapping South Yorkshire for Oklahoma.Read More
